Every Monday, Cassian™ sends you a weekly digest email summarising your Cassian Score™, what changed since last week, and the top findings worth your attention. One email. The things that matter. No noise.
The digest is designed for the reality of running a store: you don't have time to log into a dashboard every day. Cassian logs in for you and delivers the summary you need to stay on top of your store's health.
What's in the Digest

When It Arrives
The digest arrives every Monday at 8am (UTC). Cassian runs your weekly scan over the weekend and sends the digest with fresh results.
Managing Digest Settings
Go to Settings → Notifications to manage your email preferences. You have two independent toggles:
- Weekly digest emails: The Monday summary described on this page
- Scan completion emails: An email every time a scan finishes — useful if you want immediate feedback after triggering a manual scan
Your very first scan completion email is always sent automatically, regardless of notification settings. This ensures you know Cassian is working right from the start.
Both toggles are independent. You can have the weekly digest on and scan emails off, or vice versa. Turn off anything you don't find useful.
How to Change Notification Settings
Go to Settings in the sidebar.
Click Notifications.
Under Email, toggle Weekly digest on or off.
Toggle Scan completion emails separately if needed.
Changes save automatically.
Other Notification Channels
The weekly digest is email-only. For real-time alerts — store downtime, order anomalies, security findings — you can configure additional notification channels:
- Telegram: Receive instant alerts via Telegram bot (Protector and above)
- Webhook: Post alerts to Slack, Discord, or any HTTP endpoint (Protector and above)
Go to Settings → Notifications → Channels to set these up. The weekly digest always goes to email and is not available via Telegram or webhook.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get the digest more than once a week? No — the weekly digest is weekly. It summarises your store's health across the whole week, so more frequent editions wouldn't add much. For immediate alerts on important events (downtime, order drops, security findings), configure Telegram or webhook notifications in Settings → Notifications.
I'm not receiving the digest. What should I do? Check these in order:
- Check your spam or promotions folder — digest emails occasionally land there.
- Go to Settings → Notifications and confirm the weekly digest toggle is on.
- Confirm the email address on your Cassian account is correct (Settings → Account).
- Add
go.getcassian.comto your email safe-sender list to prevent future filtering.
Can I change the day or time the digest arrives? Not currently — the digest goes out every Monday at 8am UTC for all accounts. Custom scheduling is a planned feature.
Can I add a team member so they receive the digest too? Team member management is available on Enterprise plans. On other plans, the digest goes to the account email address only. If you need a colleague to stay informed, consider forwarding the email or sharing your dashboard login.
Why did my Cassian Score™ drop in this week's digest? The digest shows the score change and lists any new issues found. Check the New Issues section — the findings are ranked by impact, so the top item is the most likely cause of a score drop. You can also log into the dashboard and go to Issues for the full breakdown.
My score improved but I don't know why — the digest doesn't say what was fixed automatically. Score improvements from Cassian's own monitoring (for example, an external link you didn't control that came back online) appear in the Resolved Issues section of the digest. If you're not sure which change caused the improvement, the Issues page in the dashboard has a history of resolved findings.
Can I get the digest in a different format — for example, a Slack message or PDF? The weekly digest is email-only. For Slack delivery, you can set up a webhook notification channel in Settings → Notifications → Channels — this covers real-time event alerts, but not the weekly summary. A Slack-formatted digest is on the roadmap.
I have multiple sites. Do I get one digest per site or a combined one? You receive one digest per site. Each site has its own Cassian Score™ and its own set of findings, so they're reported separately. On Agency plans, individual site digests can be managed per site in Sites → [site name] → Notifications.
